"Description - This document provides a high-level overview of eligibility for the Supportive Housing Program, Shelter Plus Care Program, and Emergency Solutions Grants program by Category of Homelessness. These categories include: 1) literally homeless; 2) imminent risk of homelessness; 3) homeless under other Federal statues; and 4) fleeing/attempting to flee domestic violence. Our mission is to assist individuals & families to prevent, to survive and to exit homelessness with warm clothing, camp provisions, food, referrals to vital resources and connection to housing. We designed a small 560-sq.ft. Essential House for permanent and supportive housing in a Village of Hope development.

We are located at 255 E. 11th St., Durango, CO 81301. At this time, our office hours are limited due to short staffing and the COVID pandemic. Volunteer professionals are available by appointment only.

In-Person Meetings by Appointment Only:
  • Mon. & Thurs. (effective 3/1/2022) between 10:00am - 4:00pm.
  • Tuesdays & Fridays - 10:00 am to 2:00 pm RESST Program with lunch provided.
  • SATURDAYS -- Schneider Park near the entrance, we hold COFFEE & CONVERSATIONS starting at 12:30 p.m. until food is gone...come early.
