HOUSING FIRST: A Place to Call Home!
Let's have fun and do good in our community by raising funds to create affordable, low-income, low-barrier, permanent, and supportive housing for individuals experiencing homelessness.
Community Compassion Outreach has a mission to create a fully sustainable community, located in an area that can focus on support services, life skills and job training skills to improve our entire Durango community. Your contributions and participation are fully tax-deductible as CCO is a 501c3 organization. Help to make a significant difference in the lives of those who need it most!

Partner with CCO and Ron Hall to raise funds for acreage to build 20-30 single family homes for very low-income families with children and adults over age 50.

Durango, La Plata County, lacks low-barrier, affordable, permanent housing for people earning less than 60% of the area median income.

September is Recovery Month!
Let's start with two (2) Recovery Residences, a.k.a., sober-living homes for 6-8 adults in each home.

CCO's Recovery Empowerment Support Services Team (RESST) program have helped adults in multiple pathways toward recovery from addictions and co-occurring mental health disorders.
     Recovery is possible for anyone!

Our community lacks recovery residences free of drugs-and-alcohol, except for prescribed medication.
Durango's citizens need a safe place to maintain sobriety, and to reach their higher potential with changed lives.

Recovery residents are good neighbors!

Our mission is to assist individuals & families to prevent, to survive and to exit homelessness with warm clothing, camp provisions, food, referrals to vital resources and connection to housing. A retired skyscraper architect, Stuart Ohlson designed a 704-sq.ft. essential house for permanent and supportive housing for our development of a Village of Hope.
