Christmas was celebrated on December 20, 2022, with 25 Guests who warmed themselves with baked ham, sweet potatoes, vegetables and desserts. Thank you Seanan Culloty, Chef at Manna Soup Kitchen for bringing the main dishes that accompanied the baked ham CCO's Founder provided!
Guests received gifts and the warming room was beautiful! Volunteers joined in the celebration with our staff.
We are grateful for the unsolicited financial contributions from citizens of Durango who donated $17,585 received between November 8 thru January 10, 2023!
Without the Volunteers who responded to our call, this would not be possible. Thank you for your faithful service.
Our mission is to assist individuals & families to prevent, to survive and to exit homelessness with warm clothing, camp provisions, food, referrals to vital resources and connection to housing. We designed a small 560-sq.ft. Essential House for permanent and supportive housing in a Village of Hope development.

In-Person Meetings by Appointment Only:
- Mon. & Thurs. (effective 3/1/2022) between 10:00am - 4:00pm.
- Tuesdays & Fridays - 10:00 am to 2:00 pm RESST Program with lunch provided.
- SATURDAYS -- Schneider Park near the entrance, we hold COFFEE & CONVERSATIONS starting at 12:30 p.m. until food is gone...come early.
